GTA is pleased to inform all that the GTA Annual Seminar 2012 will be held at Parkroyal Hotel on Kitchener Road on 24 March 12 from 0830hrs to 1230hrs. The seminar will comprise of the following events:
0830 hrs Registration
0900 hrs Welcome Address by Chairman of Geography Teachers’ Association, Mr Josef Tan
0905 hrs “Tourism in Singapore” (Ms Carrie Kwik Executive Director, Business Tourism Development, STB)
0935 hrs “Sustaining a successful tourist attraction” (Ms Serene Law Director of Sales, Wildlife Reserves Singapore)
1005 hrs Tea Break
1050 hrs GTA Annual General Meeting
1115 hrs “Trends in tourism geography and the everyday tourism encounter in Hanoi’s Old Quarter” (Dr Jamie Gillen Assistant Professor, Department of Geography, NUS)
1145 hrs Panel Discussion (chaired by Dr Harvey Neo Assistant Professor, Department of Geography, NUS)
1215 hrs Closing Address, tokens of appreciation for speakers and lucky draw
1230 hrs End of Seminar
